On our last evening in Eldoret, we were driving to the new Zion Mall to buy a few things and to pick Sharon's mother and aunt. It was raining heavily and it was thundering and lightening. It was traffic jam.
About half way to the mall, we were again not moving, wondering how long time it would take to get there.
Suddenly, our car shook and there was a "bang". Immediately, we thought that it was something that had happened in the engine. But we very soon found out that a car had hit us behind.
We went out and so did the driver of the other car. He was very sorry and excused himself with bad breaks!! We think that the main reason was that he was not alert. Because when driving behind us afterwards, he managed to keep a distance to us despite the fact that the road went downhill.
Luckily, there was no damage to our car. Not to his either.
