Farming at 2400 meters above the sea level

The western part of Kenya is called the highlands  -  the green highlands. It is the home of the farmers.

Sharon's parents have moved out of the town of Eldoret. Now, they live about 40 km from the town at about 2400 meters above the sea level. There, on a land more than 7 acres big, they are establishing themselves by growing vegetables and so on. In many areas, they are and will become self reliant.

It is green and nice.

The nights are cold, but the days are warm.

There are many nice looking birds.

And there are flowers and trees  -  not all of them seen in Norway.
