Climbing to view The Great Rift Valley

After climbing a few kilometers of rough offroad with our rented Toyota for about 45 minutes, from an altitude of about 2400 meters to between 2700 and 2800 meters, we reached a marvellous viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. The road was so rough, that Sharon and the other passengers had to leave the car three times for Rune to get the car safely across the obstacles. One time having to be guided from outside where to aim the wheels.

Finally, we were at the top of the world  -  or at least at the top to view the Rift Valley.

You would not like to go too near the edge....!
