Our Christmas Eve with nyama choma

Merry Christmas!

We woke up to nice and sunny weather this morning. Not very much like Christmas Eve concerning weather.

Not very much dressed like a normal Christmas in Norway.....!

After breakfast, we were walking to the city centre. The traffic today is chaotic. Vehicles are stuck literally everywhere and wherever you turn there are people. Those who have money, do their shopping for the Christmas celebration tomorrow.

After having observed the Christmas chaos and walking slalom between vehicles and people, we went to a very nice place, called Highlands Inn. There, we ordered "nyama choma", which is barbecued goat ribs. That is a dish for special occasions and a must for everyone visiting. It looks like and also tastes similar to the Norwegian sheep ribs ("pinnekjøtt").

We enjoyed the nyama choma lunch together with Sharon's brother and his two children and their cousin.
